Garden Bed - interview with the artist
"I'm a cartoonist, and my friends say I'm childish. I guess I'm kind of rash at times, and I take risks - if I'm interested in something I jump in straight away. I was working on an animation for a movie when a friend at Local Services Network told me about the Garden Indoors boxes and I immediately wanted to do one. They wanted a box to grow peppers and corn in, and straight away I though of a Mexican theme. After all, that's where peppers and corn come from! I thought of the Garden Bed too. It's little, just big enough for people's windowsills. I've been bragging about these boxes to everyone - it's not going to advance my career, but it's great to see my drawings in wood, in 3D. I can't wait to do more!"

Planting combos: In this box we plant our 6mth Instant Gardens. Here in London we grow strawberries and mixed lettuce in these boxes, plus stir fry veg and aromatic herbs. These boxes sit best in front of glass windows and doors where there's about six hours of sunlight or more a day, or you can choose shade loving plants and pick salad and fruits from those instead.
